American Express is growing and has a lower valuation than Visa or Mastercard

πŸ’³ AMERICAN EXPRESS: A QUALITY STOCK THAT IS SURPRISINGLY LITTLE TALKED ABOUT! πŸ‘€$AXP

There are plenty of quality companies on the market that investors love. Visa, Mastercard, Microsoft, or Meta.

But there is one company that, in my opinion, doesn't get as much attention as it deserves.

American Express (AXP).

A company with a strong brand, loyal customers, an excellent business model, and the ability to raise prices over the long term.

And what's most interesting? Its valuation.

πŸ“Š Current numbers:

P/E: approximately 19Γ—

Forward P/E: approximately 17Γ—

Revenue growth in Q2 2026: +10%

EPS growth: +11%

ROE: over 30%

For comparison, Visa and Mastercard trade at a forward P/E of approximately 27–28Γ—.

Of course, their business models are not identical. American Express also carries credit risk, which deserves a certain discount.

But AXP has something that is very hard to build – a premium brand and customers willing to pay more and more for its services.

Over recent years, it has managed to significantly increase revenue from membership fees and continues to grow.

Personally, I really like this business.

I don't necessarily see an extremely undervalued stock here, but a quality company at a reasonable price.

And if the price were to drop significantly further, it could become a very interesting long-term investment opportunity. πŸ’°

Therefore, I'm adding American Express to the list of companies I want to watch closely.

πŸ”’ For Creators members, I've prepared a deeper analysis of competitive advantages, pricing power, risks, and especially specific scenarios for potential appreciation over the next five years.

What about you? Would you prefer American Express at a P/E of 19Γ— or Mastercard at a substantially higher valuation? πŸ‘‡
